Where do the Phillies go from here?

The Philadelphia Phillies were eliminated in the first round once again, this time by the hand of their division rival.

The Atlanta Braves closed out the Phillies in three games, and now they will face the Los Angeles Dodgers.

For Philadelphia, the ultimate question right now is, where do they go from here?

Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and Trea Turner are making a combined $780 million dollars currently. These contracts would be almost impossible to get rid of.

They have to make major roster changes if they ever want to win another championship.

Bryson Stott, Brandon Marsh, and Alec Bohm are major trade suitors. You need more consistency from players in those positions.

The moves that Dave Dombrowski have made for Philly have been abysmal, and everyone has noticed.

There’s only a few players that they should consider bringing back; Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, Christopher Sanchez, Jhoan Duran, and Jesus Luzardo. Besides this core five, everyone should go.

Philadelphia has loyalty to players that just don’t show up consistently, and it’s taking a toll.

As other teams in the league are starting to prepare for a lockout, the Phillies might’ve missed their championship opportunity.

After another Wild Card round loss, the window that looked wide open back in 2022, is closed.
