Why the Phillies Will Continue to Fail

The Philadelphia Phillies have a strong chance of missing the playoffs this year, and they have nobody to blame but themselves.

Philly made the World Series back in 2023, and their front office continued the same exact blueprint since. 

The problem is, that blueprint has failed miserably and it’s expired. 

In a tight NL race, the Phillies can’t afford to lose another game. 

In every year after their last World Series appearances, it’s been constant playoff exits and excuses for the team of Brotherly Love. 

Their trio of very high paid sluggers include Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, and Bryce Harper. 

These three have been absolutely been terrible lately, and Philadelphia may be regretting how much they paid them. 

It also doesn’t help that their other “stars” in Alec Bohm, Bryson Stott, JT Realmuto, and Brandon Marsh become disappearing acts in October. 

Phillies president David Dombroski should be ashamed of not delivering a title to Philadelphia. Many fans want him gone, and it’s understandable. 

Since the 2023 World Series appearance, every season has gotten worse for Philadelphia, and things have to change soon.

Unless they have a massive roster change in the offseason, the Phillies’ seasons will keep ending in the same fate.
