Motor City Breakdown: The Bills Run Over the Lions

The Buffalo Bills took down the Detroit Lions 41-31 on Thursday night. 

The score didn’t tell the entire story though, as the game didn’t feel that close. Josh Allen dominated with five (!) total touchdowns in the big win. 

From the very beginning of the game, Buffalo showed that they are one of the best teams in the league. In their new stadium, they did not disappoint their fans. 

They pretty much got whatever they wanted on offense, and it was pretty embarrassing for the Lions. 

Detroit is now 1-1, but their win against the Saints wasn’t a great one. A once dominant team in the NFC has fell from grace, and their window is closing rapidly. 

Lions coach Dan Campbell showed a lot of frustration last night, as he should. 

The Campbell era has looked suspicious since Ben Johnson went to Chicago, and people are starting to notice. 

As for Buffalo, they are considered Super Bowl contenders once again. The question is: will they actually do it this time? 

The Bills have constantly choked in the postseason over the last six years, and it wouldn’t be surprising if were to happen again. 

For now though, they look great, so we will see what happens.
