No LeBron or Embiid? No Problem

The Philadelphia 76ers are sitting atop of the Eastern Conference at a scorching 6-1 record, and they’ve won games without a healthy roster.

Against the Charlotte Hornets, Philly rested LeBron James and Joel Embiid due to injury management.

Preserving these two players for the postseason is the smartest idea the Sixers could do, considering James’s age and Embiid’s injury history.

In their absence, franchise superstar Tyrese Maxey dropped 38 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Anfernee Simons is making a major case for sixth man of the year, as he’s averaged 20 points per game in the last three.

Philly newcomer Dean Wade made a high impact as well, serving 10 assists in his breakout game.

The biggest strength of the Sixers is their depth. Their starting five is arguably the best in the league, but they have a solid bench unit.

Along with Simons and Wade, they have NBA champion Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Jabari Walker, and Labaron Philon Jr off the bench.

Not many teams in the league can compete with this roster, and Philly is making that known.

As long as they’re healthy, this 76ers team should be a clear championship favorite.
