NFL Week 2: Preview & Predictions
After an explosive week one, the 2026 NFL season has another outstanding slate ahead. Here are the week two predictions.
Lions vs Bills: Bills
Buffalo is coming off a strong start versus the Houston Texans, and Detroit’s defense doesn’t have enough to stop Josh Allen.
Vikings vs Bears: Bears
As elite as Minnesota’s defense is, Chicago’s offense is even stronger right now. The Vikings will need another strong performance from Carson Wentz to have a chance.
Steelers vs Patriots: Patriots
New England had a rough start to the season with their loss to Seattle, but Pittsburgh is the perfect team to turn it around on.
Bengals vs Texans: Texans
Cincinnati needs to protect Joe Burrow versus this dominant Houston defense or they’re in trouble. CJ Stroud just needs to protect the football and they’ll come out victorious.
Packers vs Jets: Packers
Green Bay has something to prove after their horrendous performance against Minnesota. New York is confident after starting 1-0, but the Packers are hungry.
Saints vs Ravens: Ravens
New Orleans simply doesn’t have an answer for the dynamic duo of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. Tyler Shough needs to have another stellar performance for the Saints to prevail.
Eagles vs Titans: Eagles
Tennessee simply doesn’t have the personnel to keep up with the Eagles firepower. It will truly take a Music City Miracle for them to win.
Browns vs Buccaneers: Buccaneers
Tampa is just a better team than Cleveland, and it’s the Baker Mayfield revenge game.
Panthers vs Falcons: Panthers
In this heated divisional battle, Carolina will once again take care of business against a sad Falcons team. Bryce Young has his best games versus Atlanta, and will look to have another.
Raiders vs Chargers: Raiders
Los Angeles is not a good team right now, and the Las Vegas pass rush may dismantle their horrid offensive line.
Jaguars vs Broncos: Jaguars
Denver looked mortal against the Chiefs last week, and Trevor Lawrence has been on fire. Bo Nix can’t keep turning the ball over, because it’ll be another blowout if so.
Commanders vs Cowboys: Cowboys
In this historic rivalry game, Dallas will make up for their week one blunders. Washington doesn’t have enough to stop the Cowboys’ offensive weapons.
Dolphins vs 49ers: 49ers
Miami may be the worst team in football, and San Francisco may actually crush them on national television.
Seahawks vs Cardinals: Cardinals
Sam Darnold is out again this week, and Arizona is feeling confident after starting 1-0. This divisional game will be more interesting than people think.
Colts vs Chiefs: Chiefs
Why is this the Sunday night game? Anyway, Kansas City will show out versus Indianapolis. The Colts just don’t have an answer for the juggernaut offense.
Rams vs Giants: Giants
The Rams are going to be surprised by how much firepower this Giants team truly has. New York is coming off a great victory against Dallas, and that could very well carry over.
