Seahawks Handle the Patriots on Night One
In a highly anticipated week one matchup, the Seattle Seahawks took down the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl rematch.
Things weren’t looking great for Seattle, as Sam Darnold got injured early in the game with a knee injury. Test results show that he avoided any major injury, thankfully.
A big blow happened to New England as well, star receiver AJ Brown suffered an ankle injury that kept him out of the game.

MVP runner-up Drake Maye had a forgettable performance, throwing three interceptions and only one touchdown.
Maye has been exposed in his most recent games. In his last five starts, he has 11 turnovers, 7 interceptions, 4 fumbles, and has taken 24 sacks. He is also 0-12 in his career against teams over .500.
The Seahawks defense was stellar once again by only holding the Patriots to a laughable 10 points. New England had a very hard time adjusting, and it showed throughout the night.
The Patriots schedule is significantly tougher than it was last season, and even though it’s only been one game, they need to make adjustments.
Seattle will continue to start Drew Lock at quarterback until Sam Darnold is healthy once again. The reigning champions need their starting quarterback if they want any chance at going back to back.
New England will face the Pittsburgh Steelers next, and Seattle will see their divisional rival, the Arizona Cardinals.
