The World Series of 2025 was one for the ages as the Los Angeles Dodgers came back from a 3-2 deficit to win the series in 7 games. The Toronto Blue Jays was a worthy opponent and should have won the Series especially in Game 7 where they had a 3-0 lead,4-2 lead,4-3 lead but despite that scenario the Blue Jays could not hold the lead.

This Game 7 may have been the greatest Game 7 ever played in World Series history because it had everything you would want in a World Series Game 7 like clutch pitching, clutch and timely hitting and great defense in the outfield and infield. Game 7 featured all of that and let's include unsung heros like Miguel Rojas Game tying home run in the ninth inning to the game at 4-4. The go ahead home run by Will Smith in the top of the 11th inning to give the Dodgers the lead for the first time.

The Dodgers showed heart and grit to repeat as champions and began the first team in 25 years to win consecutive World Series championships since the Yankees from 1998-2000. Now the Dodgers have the bullseye on their back going into the 2026 season with a opportunity to make it 3 consecutive World Series championships. The Dodgers currently have 9 World Series championships tying with the Boston Red Sox, the St Louis Cardinals and the Athletics. Next season in MLB will be intriguing to see the Dodgers win a 10th championship in their storied franchise as one of the great blue bloods of Baseball.

CFB Outlook:

College Football Season is winding down in November and last week didn't disappoint because there were 3 teams in the top 10 that were upset like Georgia Tech losing to NC State by score of 48-36. Vanderbilt lost to Texas by score of 34-31. Finally Miami Hurricanes lost in overtime to SMU by score of 26-20. In November teams in the college football playoff race cannot afford to lose but teams must run the table. Virginia looks like the team that wants to win the ACC winning 7 consecutive games at 8-1 this is the best start since 1990. They are undefeated in the ACC at 5-0.

Moving forward to this week's slate of games in college football keep eyes on matchups like BYU vsTexas Tech/Navy vs Notre Dame/Texas A&M vs Missouri/Oregon vs Iowa/LSU vs Alabama.

NFL Outlook:

The NFL season is in November but overall the team to beat is the Philadelphia Eagles yes there are teams that can challenge them like The Los Angeles Rams or Seattle Seahawks or the Detroit Lions. There is parity in the NFL no great and dominant teams. The Carolina Panthers beat the Green Bay Packers by score of 16-13 on a field goal. Despite the Bills beating the Chiefs by score of 28-21 it doesn't matter unless the Bills win in January when it matters. 

The New England Patriots are atop of the AFC East who would've predicted that because the Buffalo Bills have always been the kingpin of that division. This season will be a battle for the division title in the AFC East.
