Another Vegas Cure for the Fever
The Las Vegas Aces eliminated the Indiana Fever Thursday night in the WNBA playoffs.
This highly anticipated matchup didn’t disappoint, as the series went an entire three games.
A’ja Wilson showed once again that she’s the greatest of all time in game three. She posted 36 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
For the series, she averaged 32 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.7 steals, and 2 blocks per game.
Indiana had no match for Wilson, even with their electric home crowd getting to her head.
Fever star guard Caitlin Clark struggled in game three. She had six turnovers, and shot 25% from three point land.
Kelsey Mitchell once again was the best player for the Fever. She posted 23 points, but also shot just 30% from the field.
The wrath of Las Vegas may just be too strong, as they’ve been in the championship mix for the last five years.
The Aces are what you call a true dynasty in sports. They’ve made eight straight semi finals and are the team to beat in the association.
Las Vegas will take on the winner of the Golden State Valkyries and Dallas Wings series.
