Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson won her WNBA record fifth Most Valuable Player award, and it solidified for her GOAT case.

There have been two names that fought for the greatest of all time status for years: Diana Taurasi and Maya Moore.

Both of these legends definitely had their cases to be considered the greatest, but A’ja Wilson has surpassed them, and by the age of 30.

Five league MVP awards is something that only a few basketball players have done. Yes, basketball players period.

Wilson joins the illustrious group of Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar of NBA/WNBA players to win five MVPs.

Not to mention, she’s also won three Defensive Player of the Year awards, six All-WNBA teams, and three WNBA championships.

Wilson’s college resume isn’t too shabby either. She’s won a National Championship, and plenty of Player of the Year awards.

Two Olympic gold medals and a Nike signature shoe is just more cherries on top of this mega sundae.

Although the Aces championship hopes are done for this season, A’ja Wilson has showed that she will make them contenders every single season.

Last offseason, Wilson was paid the highest contract in league history, and it was well deserved.

Las Vegas is getting older, and the roster may have to change a bit if A’ja wants to keep winning championships.
