NFL Week 2: Recap & Review

Bills def. Lions 41-31: The score doesn’t tell the entire story here. Josh Allen and Buffalo straight up dominated Detroit in this anticipated matchup. 

Bengals def. Texans 20-6: Houston’s “elite” defense has been a shell of themselves so far this season. Cincinnati has been playing good football on both sides, they just have to remain healthy. 

Packers def. Jets 20-17: This game was simply too close to call for Green Bay, things have to improve for Matt LaFleur and Jordan Love. 

Eagles def. Titans 24-20: Another game that was too close to call, but Jalen Hurts shut the doubters up by leading Philadelphia on a game winning drive. 

Browns def. Buccaneers 23-19: In a game Baker Mayfield had circled on his calendar, he didn’t show up. In the win, Deshaun Watson had his best game in years. 

Panthers def. Falcons 34-3: Carolina has beaten down Atlanta often in recent memory. Bryce Young has been playing great football, which is awesome to see. 

Saints def. Ravens 24-17: In this upset, New Orleans is proving that they’re no joke, and Tyler Shough is the quarterback of the future. Baltimore needs to figure things out if they still want to be considered contenders. 

Vikings def. Bears 9-3: In a historic rivalry, this game was just ugly. Caleb Williams suffered a hamstring injury that took him out for the game. If he had played, Chicago would have most likely been victorious.  

Patriots def. Steelers 20-3: Pittsburgh just simply isn’t a good football team. For the Patriots, this was a big bounce back win. 

Broncos def. Jaguars 20-13: Denver’s elite defense showed up in this matchup. They held Trevor Lawrence to zero touchdowns in the win. 

49ers def. Dolphins 35-13: This was a predicted beat down by San Fran. The issue going forward is the amount of injuries they have.  

Raiders def. Chargers 26-14: The Chargers are playing terrible football, and it needs to be discussed. Las Vegas has started 2-0, for the first time in a long time. 

Cowboys def. Commanders 37-20: Washington once again has lost Jayden Daniels due to injury, and their season looks bleak. For Dallas, they clicked better than they did in week one.

Seahawks def. Cardinals 31-7: Arizona was brought back down to earth after their week one win. Drew Lock showed out with 3 touchdowns for Seattle, and the reigning champions are 2-0. 

Chiefs def. Colts 33-30: Kansas City just escaped from the Colts in this overtime victory, but their dominance should not be ignored. The Chiefs are back, and the league is on notice. 

Rams def. Giants 28-6: The Giants suffered two losses Monday night; the game and their quarterback. Jaxson Dart may be out for the season, which is awful for New York.
