Winning Isn’t Everything
"Sometimes when you win, you really lose, and sometimes when you lose, you really win, and sometimes when you win or lose, you actually tie, and sometimes when you tie, you actually win or lose. Winning or losing is all one organic mechanism, from which one extracts what one needs." – Gloria Clemente, White Man Can’t Jump The Minnesota Vikings are 4-0. They sit alongside the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers as the only undefeated teams in the NFL. And yet, nobod

NFL Week 4: Recap & Review
Browns def. Steelers 27-24: Cleveland sits at 3-1 and has shocked the NFL. Deshaun Watson looked like his old self against Pittsburgh, and the Browns are hopeful. Colts def. Commanders 30-13: Washington has been riddled with injuries and Indianapolis took full advantage of that. The Commanders couldn’t get anything going on offense and it was simply hard to watch. Cowboys def. Texans 34-30: The Dallas offense absolutely erupted on the overrated Houston defense. The Texans ar

It Hurts to Watch the Eagles Play
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Jalen Hurts has played 11 seasons of high-level football dating back to college, and he has had 11 different play callers. The one thing they all seemed to have a common? A rudimentary passing attack. In a 27-7 blowout loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night, Hurts finished the game 16-for-25 for 153 yards with zero touchdowns and one interception. And yet, he somehow played even worse that pedestrian stat line would sugg

Falcons Soar Over the Packers: TNF Recap & Review
The Atlanta Falcons took down the Green Bay Packers Thursday with a score of 35-14. This was another embarrassing loss for the Packers, and things need to be figured out ASAP. For a struggling Atlanta team, Michael Penix Jr. gave them some new life. After playing Cooper Rush and Jack Strand the first two games, the Falcons looked awful offensively. Penix immediately came in Thursday and made a positive impact. He posted 256 yards and threw a touchdown pass. Drake London a

NFL Week 2: Recap & Review
Bills def. Lions 41-31: The score doesn’t tell the entire story here. Josh Allen and Buffalo straight up dominated Detroit in this anticipated matchup. Bengals def. Texans 20-6: Houston’s “elite” defense has been a shell of themselves so far this season. Cincinnati has been playing good football on both sides, they just have to remain healthy. Packers def. Jets 20-17: This game was simply too close to call for Green Bay, things have to improve for Matt LaFleur and Jordan Lo

The NYG QB1 Conundrum
The New York Giants are stuck between a rock and a hard place. On Wednesday, the team announced that quarterback Jaxson Dart will undergo season-ending surgery to repair ligament damage to the meniscus, MCL and PCL in his left knee. While head coach John Harbaugh was quick to clarify that Dart is only officially ruled out for the rest of the regular season and could conceivably return to action if Big Blue reaches the playoffs, the expectation is that we won’t see the Giants’

Jalen Hurts Must Play...Quarterback?
Jeffery Simmons disrespects Jalen Hurts: “We have to make him play quarterback” As the Philadelphia Eagles play the Tennessee Titans Sunday, All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons told reporters “we just have to make Jalen Hurts be a quarterback”. This comment has caused a decent amount of controversy, especially in the Eagles locker room and fan base. Jalen Hurts is one of, if not the most disrespected player in the National Football League. Year after year, people ma

Lions vs Bills: Bills Buffalo is coming off a strong start versus the Houston Texans, and Detroit’s defense doesn’t have enough to stop Josh Allen. Vikings vs Bears: Bears As elite as Minnesota’s defense is, Chicago’s offense is even stronger right now. The Vikings will need another strong performance from Carson Wentz to have a chance. Steelers vs Patri

NFL Week 1: Recap & Review
The opening week to the NFL season did not disappoint. There were record breaking performances, huge let downs, and impactful play all around. Here is the breakdown of the beginning of the 2026 season. Seahawks def. Patriots 13-10: In a highly anticipated Super Bowl rematch, Seattle handled the lackluster New England offense.
